The (almost) perfect day

7 AM: Alarm goes off. I actually slept through the night for once (but do I have to get up already?).
7:15: My favorite jeans are clean, and I got the least-filthy sink when I went to brush my teeth. Score.
8:50: We didn't finish the lecture in statistics--no homework!
9:15: Mmmm, frosting for breakfast.
11:50: The research project is almost ready to go; we're just waiting on a table. Prof. Way-Too-Generous didn't realize I could run it by myself. Since I can, the other research assistant has been "reassigned." (Heh heh heh. Find your own prof, other RA. He's mine.) Prof. WTG gives me props for being so diligent.
12:10 PM: Caffeine for lunch--block those adenosine receptors! Block them, I say!
12:40: Deliver cookies to Prof. Candid-Advice as thanks for the letter of recommendation she's writing for my research program application. For one of the few times since I've known her, she actually looks and sounds happy, and we chat about books and movies before class.
2:40: Studying in the hall before my last class. Another student in the class asks me why I'm studying--the exam is still over a week away, after all! Prof. CA pokes a bit of fun at Other Student over it ("Maybe you should imitate?"). More props for me.
3:50: Prof. CA loved the cookies. Still more props for Psychobunny. (Oh, will it never end? ;) )
5:00: Great club meeting. We got Prof. Chatty started talking about grad school and learned quite a bit about what they're looking for in a candidate and what we should be looking for in a school.
5:50: Off to the student center for food. The lady making pasta remembered me from last semester and gave me triple garlic. Yummy.
6:30: Plot my prosocial behaviors chart and realize I nearly doubled criterion almost without realizing it. This means, of course, that I don't have to speak for the rest of the day unless I want to.

Now if only I could just go to bed right now...
