Secrets of science, volume 1
Real data is very messy, not nearly as clear-cut as the published papers and texts make it seem. Why this didn't occur to me before, I have no idea. But I do know that it is decidedly not good when your standard deviation exceeds your mean, especially when you're scheduled to present the aforementioned data at conferences that are only two and three weeks away. :)posted by Psychobunny at
