Unsolicited advice
Here's a helpful tip for anyone who, like me, is looking at graduate programs: Look at the grad handbook! It's likely available either directly from the program's pages or from the main grad school application page. I just looked at the handbook for My Dream Program and discovered I was missing (and not planning to take!) three to four courses considered essential prerequisites for admission. Now, sometime in the next three semesters, I have to fit in courses in cognitive psychology, psychometrics, personality theory, and possibly child psychology.
