What I've been doing lately

1. Not driving, that's for sure! My car broke down July 3. I got it back July 12. I went out of town that weekend, then my car broke down again on Monday. $418 later, I have a new fuel pump, fuel filter, power steering pulley, and TWO (count 'em, two!) working windshield wipers -- as long as it was already in the shop, I figured I would reclaim the passenger side of my windshield. How bourgeois am I? Veeeery. :)


2. For the weekend my car did work, I went to my friends' wedding. I don't have permission to post their picture, and one blogs pseudonymously, so I replaced their faces below.
   
3. Contemplating buying these shoes. I love both pandas and crazy printed shoes, so they're right up my alley.


4. Trying to come up with a way I can put a new picture on my profile without revealing myself too much. There's a great humorous ridiculous one from the wedding that I'm thinking of restaging.


5. Staging my own personal production of Short Attention Span Theatre. When I left the repair shop for the second time, I paused at the stoplight to ponder if the mechanics might be thinking that I was intentionally damaging my car. Then I pulled out in front of someone and nearly had to take it in a third time. :)


6. Working my tail off trying to pay all the bills. I seem to somehow break everything mechanical I touch lately (car, chargers for various appliances, refrigerator, etc.). In fact, I should get my hands off my laptop before something bad happens to it!
