Okay, so I'm shallow and I hate to admit this, but I'm quite fond of checking SiteMeter and seeing that people come to visit. And, for whatever reason, since I started boy-blogging, I get more hits. It's quite reinforcing. :) I guess it's better than the alternative, Bullets-of-Whatever-the-Heck-is-Bothering-Me-Today. But I promise it won't become a new format or anything like that. It's just more interesting than my other activities right now--I can write only so many "diversity" essays for my applications before feeling the urge to shout that dammit, I'm a White woman. My life isn't that hard!So anyway, I was on OKCupid last night looking for interesting tests so the blog wouldn't be entirely boy-themed. Because I've found so many neat little quizzes there, I have an account to save the results. And yep, you guessed it, met yet another guy, who, in a strange turn of events, actually lives in the same building as I do, on the same floor as I do. He's shy though, so we were chatting on MSN instead of in real life. Let's call him C.
We were debating solipsism when he said the absolute sweetest thing to me:
Me: Though if you really *are* the only sentient being and everything is the product of your divine whim, could you please imagine me smarter and prettier? I'd really appreciate it. :)Somehow, after that, I really didn't care how tenuous his philosophical position was. :)

He is a nice guy. We're going to be good friends. And he really is smooth, but I will get him to apply that to other women. :)
