Is it wrong...

...to feel insulted when someone breaks* into your car but doesn't take anything?

-----
*"Breaks" is used loosely here. My car is old enough to get its own drivers license, and if you fail to check that all the door handles are down when you lock the car, the doors with the raised handles fail to lock.

I totally understand. My car was broken into awhile back, and my purse was stolen. As I only had six dollars in it, that was taken, and the rest of its contents were ditched in the middle of a road across town. I got my wallet, license, CREDIT CARDS!, journal, and various other knick-knackery returned to me by the kind citizen whose house they were dumped generally in front of. While I was glad to have it back, I was definitely surprised. They kept the purse.
